Latin American Preselection

The first edition of the Prix Osipova Latin American Preselection will take place at the Theatro Municipal of Rio de Janeiro on 27 and 28 April, bringing together outstanding young dancers from across Latin America. Candidates will be selected by a renowned international jury, including Natalia Osipova, in a unique and exceptional artistic setting.

More than a competition, the Preselection is a career-defining artistic experience, offering dancers the rare opportunity to be personally observed, guided, and selected throughout the entire process.

Participation is free of charge, reaffirming the Prix Osipova’s commitment to artistic excellence, inclusion, and equal opportunity. Selected dancers will be invited to the Prix Osipova Final in London, with all expenses covered, and may also receive scholarships and international professional opportunities, strengthening the presence of Latin American talent on the global ballet stage.

The Preselection will culminate in a Gala Performance, featuring the awarded candidates, Natalia Osipova herself, and guest artists. This special evening offers a unique and privileged opportunity to experience on stage one of the most important dancers of our time, alongside the exceptional young talents she has personally selected.

Phase 1

Submitall of class video and form from March 03^th to March 25^th – Results by March 27^th

Phase 2

After acceptance, submitall of 2^nd registration from March 29^th to April 6^th to confirm presence on Prix Osipova Latin America Preselection.
